Sure wish y’all had a shop in my neck of the woods.
What I look for in a shop is when I get an oil change or any work done to it, they look it over and tell me I need to have something else done, something I need to watch out for that needs to be fixed down the road
The shop where I get my vans inspected did something questionable when I was inside the work area and think it’s time to change. A mechanic was doing brake work on someone else’s car and I saw the calipers just dangling by the brake hoses.
Do they have a shop dog? Very important.
Thanks so much for making and posting this video. I followed all of your tips and found a great shop. I was able to check all the boxes except one. The waiting room was not clean enough. I think most customers drop off their cars though, because I was the only one in the waiting room all morning. But at some point, I will give them constructive feedback about that issue.
